I like understanding how things work.
A systems-oriented engineer working across AI, software, networks, and technical execution.
I'm Himanshu — himu, sometimes audbhida. My work has taken me through very different environments: industrial AI, telecom operations, systems research, software performance, and technical project coordination.
The common thread is usually the same:
understand the system → break down the problem → build → measure → iterate.
Currently
StarTech Networks
I work in network delivery as a project coordinator, coordinating telecom modernization workflows across US markets.
A lot of the work sits between engineering and execution: infrastructure, asset lifecycles, field operations, data validation, and process automation. I also build internal automation workflows that remove repetitive work from operational processes.
Previously
Université d'Avignon · LIA Lab
I worked on LoRaPwn, a custom LoRaWAN research framework — low-level components in Rust and C++, direct LoRa PHY hardware, and optimized cryptographic workloads. Top-performing fellow of the cohort (20/20 jury evaluation).
Pravideon
I led technical development for industrial AI systems.Nirvanagni — निर्वाणाग्नि, a fire that extinguishes fire — was an autonomous fire safety platform for New Age Fire: AI detection, telemetry, and automated response. The system was patented and presented at Fire India Expo 2025. I also built an AI-based P&ID analysis system in 24 hours for Echelon'25 — 1st place.

How I work
Understand first. Before reaching for an abstraction, I want to understand the problem underneath it.
Break things down. Large systems become manageable when their boundaries, interfaces, and failure modes are clear.
Build early. A working prototype teaches more than a perfect architecture diagram.
Measure. If something matters — latency, throughput, cost, reliability — I want a number.
Leave things better. Good engineering makes the system, process, and team easier to work with.
What I'm exploring
AI systems and agents. Network automation. Systems programming. Developer tooling. Infrastructure. Technical leadership.
Outside engineering
Music, cinema, philosophy — anything that sends me down an unexpected rabbit hole. Some rabbit holes become software. Some become music. Most become both.
